What My Daughter Brought to Show and Tell

This morning, my daughter puts a copy of How to Write with Flair in her backpack.  It's her show-and-tell day.

I want to cry.

I think that motherhood is all about celebrating children, but sometimes, they celebrate us.

"I'm proud of you, Mom."

I'm going to go cry now.

______________
Journal:  I want to do things that make my children proud.  I haven't thought of it this way before.  Am I living a life that my children will continue to celebrate?

  1. amazing isn't it.
how much children care for their parents?
no matter what, it seems that always need to have parents that love and accept them and are proud of them. you are proud of your child for taking your book to show and tell. and she loves you and knows this book is important to her mom.

  5. What a wonderful daughter you have! And can't we understand her, even now as adults, that the things our mother, sisters, fathers, brothers make are something we are proud of and love to show?

I'd love to hear your thoughts about how you are living with flair today.
